Specific work assignments included capture management, volume lead, writing, editing, and SME work in the IT field. Prefer working in high-pressure, tight-deadline situations.

Technical Consultant

Prepared and presented technical information on Unix- and Intel-based servers and the company’s full range of server appliances. Customer base consisted of managed service companies and "dot coms." Critical to sales representatives’ success performing total-solution sales of hardware and e-services (software, support, and consulting). Wrote, managed, and edited proposals.

2Bridge Corp. 1999 – 2000

E-Business Consultant/Software Trainer/Software Documentation

Prepared customer demonstrations and prototypes of e-hub/portal software for the mid-Atlantic region. Prototypes consisted of web sites rapidly generated using a variety of tools in preparation for customer use of 2Bridge’s 2Share product. Evaluated and prepared responses to RFPs and RFIs. Installed and upgraded software products at customer sites including SIG in Arlington, VA and DuPont in Delaware. Provided significant support to the software documentation team with writing and editing.

Unify Corp. 1995 - 1999

Senior Federal Support Engineer/Software Trainer

Accountable for the post-sales success of all major Federal Unify accounts including NSA, US PTO, US Army Claims, and US Marshals Service. Assisted with proposal preparation and wrote MS PowerPoint courseware for multiple software products. Provided pre-sales support to federal and commercial account managers. Taught pre- and post-sales customers the use of client/server and web software. Trained customers in the use of one of the first enterprise Java products (9/96) designed to automatically connect Java-based web forms to traditional databases. Received a Unify Team Spirit award as a remote support engineer.
